Overview
Other scientific issues come into play with regards to the meridian of longitude upon which we base our time zone. We reside in a 24/7-world when it comes to commerce, so we do not have to be a slave to anyone's time zone apart from our own. Hence we should recognise our standard longitude meridian and revert to GMT plus 10 hours, placing us one hour behind Eastern Standard Time.
