Overview
Mrs. Loomis was born in Sherkston, growing up in a home on Sherkston Road where her grandfather had settled on 200 acres of land. She attended school in Sherkston and went to high school in Ridgeway. Mrs. Loomis later remarried to Henry Loomis and the couple had only eight months together before he died from a sudden heart attack. It was then she returned to Port Colborne in 1975. Mrs. Loomis is survived by her three children Jack Coopman and his wife Carol of Vineland, Charlotte Moon and her husband Bill of Belleville and Mary Margaret Bowman and her husband Don of Bolton along with eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
