Overview
Woodstock -- Sirkka Whitman, 94, a Woodstock-area resident since the mid-1990s, died on Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, at Mertens House. In Irvington, Mrs. Whitman was an active volunteer in many organizations, including Presbyterian Church of Irvington. She also earned recognition for 25 years of service to Meals on Wheels. She and her husband enjoyed golfing and curling.
