Overview
Cheryl Trewella, a state game protector in Upper Bucks, said the state government is constantly adding to its reserve of game lands. In 1926, the year the club was founded, Trewella said the state owned 86,000 acres of game lands. In 1986, she said, that number has grown to 1.3 million acres. About 60 members of the club attended the dedication ceremonies on the organization's grounds at Routes 212 and 412 in Springtown. The rod and gun club owns 30 acres at the site, which includes facilities for pistol and rifle target shooting, trapshooting and archery practice.
