Overview
Matt Long and Gabe Robinson made sure that Friday's anticipated tightbattle between Jim Thorpe and Lourdes Regional never materialized. Long threw four touchdown passes and Robinson had a outstanding first halfas Jim Thorpe blanked the Red Raiders 42-0 in a Mid-Penn Conference game tomove over the .500 mark for the first time this season. The Olympians (4-3 overall, 2-1 league) battled Lourdes (3-4, 2- 2) to ascoreless draw in the first quarter. The second quarter, however, belonged toJim Thorpe with the Olympians taking a 26-0 lead at halftime.
