Overview
Every member of the Easton High girls tennis team had to savor every minuteof its 4-1 win over Emmaus for the District 11 3A team title Saturday at theWestend Racquet Club. \"It was real exciting and wonderful for the whole team and I felt great forall of the kids, but especially for Jill [Seksinsky],\" said Head Coach Debbie Exley, whoseteam finished 19-1 with the lone loss coming against Emmaus. \"She and Allisonwere really down after losing that doubles match. They will never forget it.They had it and it just slipped away. It was just one of the those things thatwould probably never happen again, but it happened that day.\" \"We lost to Emmaus during the regular season under a different format, butthe big difference this time was in the doubles,\" Exley said. \"Amanda Blockand Liz Hunt lost to Emmaus in the season, and were beaten soundly, but theyturned it around and won in three sets this time. Laura (DeBerardinis) andBrienne (Exley) won the other doubles match.\"
