Overview
The U.S. Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization has deported to Mexico 64 illegal aliens who were arrested Monday at a Morristown produce firm, according to INS Agent Ronald Kidd. Kidd said 96 people were arrested during the raid on Burnett Produce Co.'s chicken processing plant, and one of the plant's supervisors, Refugio Rea, 28, has been charged with producing, transferring or selling counterfeit documents. Federal agents conducted a similar raid on Burnett Produce in 1993. Kidd said Monday's raid was promted by \"numerous complaints\" from local citizens that many of the persons deported following the 1993 raid were back in the area.
