In 1992, shortly after the recession caused by the first Gulf War, they added jewelry to their lineup and changed the name to King Furs & Fine Jewelry. It became what [Buddy Ballin] calls a \"luxury store.\" The biggest challenge for the company is persuading the public to think about King not just for furs, but also for fine jewelry, Buddy Ballin said. Master furrier [Lewis Jones] fits [Lisa Nabors] for a Tourmaline mink coat. Jones has worked at King Furs for 37 years.
