\"There is something really fresh about [Donny Joe Bair]'s approach,\" says [Kristin Capp]. \"He didn't overthink it.\" A number of the photographs centered around sports, including Jeryl Andrews' still life, \"Jake's Shoes,\" Cody Flett's action shot, \"Center Court,\" and Marvin McCrae's \"Norbert.\" \"Obviously [Amelia Abrahamson]'s 'Palm Trees' image was not taken on the Rez,\" says Capp, \"but it is about her world and where she went on spring vacation. I liked adding that element. Their whole lives aren't lived solely on the reservation.\"
