Julie Cooper (Melinda Clarke), [Marissa Cooper]'s mother, is obsessively trimming the shrubbery, single-handedly moving the furniture and, predictably, popping prescription pills. Oh, and she's also meeting [Ryan Atwood] -- what the?! -- at a sleazy motel. Fox is trying to boost \"The O.C.\" by offering multiple viewing opportunities on the Internet.
