Dozens of flights into and out of Lambert were canceled by Southwest, American, Continental, Delta, United and other airlines. Shirley Walls, a spokeswoman for Lambert, said airport crews would be working in 12-hour shifts to keep runways and taxiways clear. [Susan Gallagher] said all Ameren field crews - including 1,500 linemen - were scheduled to work today. Truck trailers packed with poles, wire and conductors were on standby.
