Overview
Vince Greer is a smart kid who was rarely asked a question he couldn't answer, family and classmates said. Now, police say, Vince, 15, a freshman at Ritenour High School, has left a question unanswered: Why did he take his father's .22- caliber rifle and shoot his father and fatally wound his mother Wednesday in their home in St. Ann? Vince is being held in juvenile detention in Clayton. He will probably face a certification hearing within the next two months to determine if he will be tried as an adult.
