Overview
[Eddy G. Nicholson], 48, hails from Texas. He and his wife, Linda, began buying American 18th-century furniture eight years ago when business took him to New Hampshire. Later, they restored a Federal-style 1845 house to accommodate their art and antiques. ''I think there is an exhilarating feeling in owning masterpieces,'' Nicholson declares, though he says he holds these possessions as a ''fiduciary trust.'' In collecting, ''investment should not be the overriding factor.''
