Overview
O'[Brian] -- Dr. [John L. O]'Brian, 87, of 2020 Jackson St., Coal Township. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Father Adrian Gallagher at 10 a.m. on Thursday in Our Lady of Hope Church, First and Chestnut streets, Coal Township. Interment will follow Mass in All Saints Cemetery, Bear Gap. Visitation will be from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Thursday at the church. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Shamokin-Coal Township Public Library, 201 E. Independence St., Shamokin 17872, or Our Lady of Hope Church Memorial Fund, 863 W. Chestnut St., Coal Township 17866. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to James Kelley Funeral Home, 1001 W. Arch St. at Maple Street, Coal Township.
