\"Todo se dio en el momento preciso... cuando los tres habíamos salido de nuestros proyectos en solitario y tuvimos el espacio para juntarnos a trabajar en este álbum\", agregó [Lena Burke], natural de Cuba y residente de Florida, quien se dio a conocer por su actuación y ejecución de la banda sonora de la película La Mala, que narra la vida de la desaparecida cantante cubana La Lupe, quien alcanzó la fama en los años 60. Burke aseguró por su parte que la fusión de los estilos le dio al disco un \"sonido especial\". En cada tema se mezcla la voz romántica y nostálgica de Ubago, la voz afinada y letras poéticas de Burke y los ritmos movidos y contagiosos de [Jorge Villamizar]. \"Esta combinación dio buenos frutos desde sus inicios; el disco está en varios países de Latinoamérica en la lista de los Top Ten. En Argentina, por ejemplo, ha ocupado el primer lugar en las últimas cinco semanas y en México está de quinto\", resaltó Burke.
