Overview
Jurors heard trial testimony about a July 2009 meeting between [Thomas Correa] and a witness that was filmed without Correa's knowledge. Correa's defense lawyer, Dave Bogenschutz, wrote that if jurors saw the full DVD, it may have affected their verdict because the defense had no opportunity to question witnesses or challenge what appeared on the video. \"A major point, according to the alternate juror, related to the redaction of one of the tapes, and that jurors were speculating that the redaction occurred because it must have shown [Correa's] guilt,\" according to a sworn statement from Correa's friend.
