Overview
During [Thomas Correa]'s trial last fall, there was testimony about a July 2009 meeting between Correa and a witness that was recorded without Correa's knowledge. Correa's friend also alleged that she had encountered an alternate juror at a mall after the verdict and the woman told her that several jurors improperly discussed the evidence before deliberations began. The woman also said jurors speculated about the editing of the tapes and suggesting \"it must have shown [Correa's] guilt.\" [Kenneth Marra] also rejected Correa's request for a new trial regarding the allegation that jurors discussed the evidence before deliberating, which he had warned them was not allowed.
