Overview
Novatec, based in Montauban, France, in conjunction with IRITCNRS, a Toulouse laboratory specializing in machine vision, developed this reading system that operates in two stages. First, an optical sensor takes a two-dimensional image of the position and shape of the bubbles, which a shape recognition program then converts into a digital signature.
