STAMFORD, Conn., Oct. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Nestle Waters North America (NWNA) today announced \"Project Picnic,\" a volunteer initiative to beautify the community by donating hundreds of picnic tables to local Stamford organizations, and replacing many damaged by Hurricane Sandy. More than 200 NWNA and community organization volunteers will gather together at an event from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM ET to assemble 100 picnic tables made from recycled plastic bottles. NWNA Chairman, President and CEO, Tim Brown, and Stamford Mayor Michael Pavia will be in attendance and speaking at the event at 4:30 pm ET.
