[Elizabeth Amengual] afirma que varios familiares se han operado y conoce ocho personas de su entorno que tambien lo han hecho. \"Ellos no tuvieron ningun problema\", senalo. Hoy los centros oftalmologicos y las clinicas donde se realiza el procedimiento ponen a los pacientes en listas de espera por la escasez del lente. Amengual estaba anotada desde principios de ano. \"La muchacha me dijo: No se preocupe, los lentes que llegan son para las personas que tenian la cirugia pautada para enero\", conto. Pocas alternativas. Un vocero del sector importador de equipos medicos, que prefirio reservar su identidad, indico que existen alrededor de cinco importadores de lentes intraoculares para las cataratas, de los cuales solo uno pudo traer mercancia este ano. \"Logro importar en febrero y ya para marzo se habia quedado sin inventario\", senalo.
