Las autoridades tienen que \"hacer una evaluación\" de los daños del huracán, explicó el presidente del Consejo Electoral Provisional, Léopold Berlanger, asegurando que la nueva fecha de los comicios será anunciada antes del próximo miércoles. Sin embargo, evaluaciones parciales, que excluyen al departamento de Grande Anse, región donde pasó el ojo del huracán, daban cuenta de 14.500 desplazados y 1.855 hogares inundados.
