Overview
June 18, 1999--Orrin H. Ingram II has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of Ingram Industries Inc., and John R. Ingram is the new Vice Chairman of the company's Board of Directors. Robin Ingram Patton was elected to the Board of Directors. She is the sister of Orrin and John Ingram. Martha R. Ingram, Chairman of the Board, said the new positions reflect the current executive roles of her sons, Orrin and John Ingram, in the day-to-day leadership of Ingram Industries and a desire for Robin Ingram Patton to have a more active voice in the company.
