Archive Corp. (NASDAQ:ACHV), a leading manufacturer of tape backup products for the computer industry, Wednesday introduced two new 4MM tape drive products based on Digital Audio Tape (DAT) technology to satisfy the high-capacity data storage requirements of networked and multi-user systems. The Archive Python family of DAT products represent the next generation of computer-grade peripherals that will reliably store 1300 megabytes of data on a single DAT cartridge. Archive's new Python models 4520/21 half-height, 5.25-inch form factor internal models and the Python 4330/31 external models are the first in a complete family of DAT drives that set the standard for high capacity data storage peripheral products.
