Skopje, 5th December: The [partial] re-run of the Macedonianpresidential elections began today with numerous incidents inthe western [Albanian populated] part of the country, Skopje'smedia reports. Observers of the opposition Social Democratic Alliance ofMacedonia [SDSM], whose candidate is Tito Petkovski, bore thebrunt of these incidents as, at certain polling stations,Albanians attacked them with spades, threatened them withfire-arms and demanded that they leave the polling stations.
