[Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah] said the adopted resolutions included issues related to the strengthening the Party's structures, economic and social challenges such as unemployment, crime, gender inequality and many others that are affecting the country. \"Thanks to the hard work of party members using the well-established party structures,\" she said. She continued: \"Cognizant of the that fact that development is a process, the Central Committee reaffirms its earlier decision on the need to diversify the economy with emphasis in manufacturing, agriculture, aquaculture and tourism in order to expand the economy and create jobs as a way of fighting poverty.\"
