Overview
Accepting the political parties' failure to speed up election preparations though just 75 days remain for the CA polls, Minister [Sitaula] stressed on unity among all parties to successfully hold the elections. \"There should be unity and reconciliation among the parties to give a sense of Constituent Assembly to the people of all castes, creeds, professions, and communities,\" he said. Election Commissioner Nil Kantha Uprety directed the security agencies to work in a fair manner as the CA polls would have historical significance. Uprety also said that the Election Commission would treat equal all the 61 parties registered for the CA polls.
