[Presenter] The Homeland Union [the Conservatives] has urged traditional parties to form a united front against the candidates of the Labour Party in the second election round [on 24 October]. Andrius Kubilius [the party's chairman] said he would propose to the party's presidium that it support even Social Democrat candidates who would compete against Labour Party candidates.
