Overview
[Jimmy Heath] composed eight of the album's 10 tunes. His \"Big P\" and \"Gemini\" may be familiar from recordings by the Cannonball Adderley Quintet or Sextet -- and \"Project S\" from a recording by Herbie Mann. But to hear them with a big band is to hear them in the full regalia of harmony and ensemble colors. Lew Tabackin solos on flute on \"Gemini,\" adding an exotic flavor to the groove.
