Overview
Trinka Lynn Knight, 33, of 19 Healthy Heights, was injured after her son found a .410 bore shotgun underneath her bed and shot her in the foot inside their trailer, said Al Kisner, Chief Deputy with the Monongalia County Sheriff's Department. During a 911 call to MECCA, Knight told a dispatcher that she keeps the .410 bore shotgun \"under her bed and that her son had found it.\" Monongalia Emergency Medical Services transported Knight to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
