Overview
Savannah Electric has 3,935 customers enrolled in the program, according to spokesperson Emily Jones. The rates for Savannah Electric's Time of Use program, which adjusts rates according to the peak and off-peak usage, also increased as part of a fuel recovery measure. The time-of-use rates are less expensive than the standard rate from October Through May, going as low as 2.910 per kwh, but are substantially higher during the months June through September, with the highest rate set at 13.128 cents per kwh.
