This kind of purchase would certainly do that.\" The hall, which is known for its excellent acoustics, has been home to an annual jazz series that regularly has brought such popular performers such as Spyro Gyra and Dave Koz to Tempe. \"We'd look forward to any situation which would attract good jazz acts to town,\" said Joel Robin Goldenthal, president of Jazz in AZ. \"So far, Red River has specialized in smooth jazz, but with new owners, that could change.
