\"There are no reasons for a revolution, there are no revolutionary sentiments in society. There is a need for dialogue, the people who are expressing their opinions need to be heard,\" [Valentina Matviyenko] told the Interfax news agency on Thursday [26 January]. In Matviyenko's words, those who take part in protests should also demonstrate readiness for dialogue with the authorities \"to come to an appropriate solution that will enable the successful and effective development of our country - everyone is interested in this, no one is interested in rocking the boat\".
