كتاب \"رحلة إلى مصر... الوادي وسيناء\" هو حصاد رحلة طويلة قام بها الكاتب اليوناني الكبير نيكوس كزانتزاكيس (صاحب زوربا اليوناني والمسيح يصلب من جديد) مبعوثا كمراسل صحفي لإحدى الصحف اليونانية عام 1927، إلى مجموعة من بلاد المشرق: تركيا، سوريا، فلسطين، قبرص، مصر وسيناء. وجمع كازنتزاكيس حصاد رحلته في كتب وقد ترجم الجزء الخاص برحلته إلى فلسطين وصدر بالأردن وقام بالترجمة نفس المترجمين اللذين يقدمان لنا هذا الكتاب عن مصر وسيناء : الشاعر الأردني محمد الظاهر والكاتبة منية سمارة. \"رحلة إلى مصر\" تجوال شيق ممتع، تمتزج في الثقافة بالتاريخ والأسطورة بالروى والواقع بالشعر والخبرة بالحلم. كل ذلك في استبصار مرهف بمستقبل المنطقة ودراماها الكبيرة. هذا الكتاب من تأليف نيكوس كازانتزاكيس وحقوق الكتاب محفوظة لصاحبها.
