Overview
كانت رحلة الحج إلى البيت العتيق ذات مشقة عظيمة، وهذا نموذج لرحلة الحج لأبي مروان الباجي من الأندلس قبل ثمانية قرون. 2) انطلق أبو مراون الباجي من إشبيلية في ربيع الآخر من عام 633 هـ إلى سبتة وبقي فيها تسعة أشهر يسمع الحديث وينتظر المراكب البحرية. 3) لقي أبو مروان الباجي بسبتة شابا ضريرا ذكيا فاصطفاه لرفقته في رحلة الحج وهو أبو عبدالله ابن الخضار الكتامي وكان عمره 23 عاما. 4) من عجائب ذكاء ابن الخضار أنه كان يسير في أزقة سبتة دون اعتماد على أحد فإذا مر بمقبرة التفت ودعا مع أنه ضرير. 5) في السابع من المحرم من عام 634 هـ استقل أبو مروان وصاحبه مركبا روميا من سبتة ومنه إلى مالقة ثم المرية فقرطاجنة فلقنت.
