الكتاب الذي بين أيدينا الآن مأخوذ على نحو رئيس من \"Desert Arabia \"للمؤلف \"موزيل\"، والثاني من السلسلة، ومن أخلاق وعادات قبيلة الرول لمغامراته، بعد أن وهنا يقدم لنا صورة كاملة لخبراته أثناء رحلتين قام بها في 1908- 1909 و1914 -1915 ؛ وسنجد سردا، في كتاب \"نجد الشمالية\" : \"Negd Norther \" وهو المجلد الخامس من المجموعة، وجرى نغادره في نهاية هذا الكتا مباشرة حذف معظم المواد الطبوغرافية والتاريخية في العمل الأطول. من التغيرات إلى الجزيرة العربية، فقد أعطى الجمل مكانه للسيارة لقد جلبت الحرب وضغوط الحضارة الحديثة كثيرا والبندقية الصغيرة للرشاش الأوتوماتيكي الصغير، لذلك فإن وصف \"موزيل\" ذو قيمة مضاعفة كسجل أخير لنظام عصر قديم طويل الأمد ّيمر بلا عودة.
