كثر الحديث، في الآونة الأخيرة، عن أزمة المسرح، فمنهم من يرى أن أزمة نص، ومنهم من يراها أزمة مخرج، ومنهم مني راها أزمة جمهور، فهل هناك أزمة فعلا؟ وإذا كان هناك أزمة، فهل هي أزمة نص أو مخرج أو جمهور؟ وما الأسباب الداعية إلى وجود هذه الأزمة؟ وكيف يمكن الخلاص منها لدفع المسرح العربي خطوة إلى الأمام؟. <لاق> إن الكاتب العربي موجود. وما يعرض على الخشبة في وطننا العربي الكبير يؤكد أن المبدعين في المسرح موجودون، وأن بعد يوم. المتخصصين في هذا الفن يتزايدون يوما أما عن المخرج العربي فهو يعمل بحرارة عالية رغم الظروف القاسية. أما عن الجمهور الذي لا يعرف إلا الصدق والعطاء دون حساب، فهل هناك أزمة جمهور؟ وما مسوغات هذا الطرح؟ هل هو مقصود لدفع التهمة عن سلبيات أخرى.
