يتناول كتاب (الأربعون في دلائل التوحيد) والذي قام بتأليفه (لأبي إسماعيل عبد الله بن محمد بن علي الأنصاري الهروي) في حوالي (87) صفحة من القطع المتوسط موضوع (علم الكلام في الحديث) مستعرضا التالي : بدخول علم المنطق والفلسفة على الإسلام دخل على العقيدة الإسلامية شر كثير، حيث أدخلوا هذا العلم في الأمور الاعتقادية التي لا مصدر لها يعتمد عليه غير الكتاب والسنة. وحينما دخل هذا الشر على العقيدة الإسلامية إذ من بابه دخل التحريف والتعطيل لأسماء الله وصفاته الواردة فى الكتاب العزيز وفي السنة الصحيحة الثانية عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذ لا أعلم من الله تعالى من الله بنفسه، ولا أعلم به من خلقه من رسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم فهو صلى الله عليه سلم أعلم الناس بالله وأتقاهم له.
