هذا الكتاب في الاصل، جزء هو اشبه شىء بالفصل، ترتيبه قبل الاخير في كتاب لإقبال عنوانه زبور العجم. وليس من التزيد وتجاوز الحد قولنا إنه علي لطافة حجمه يستغرق جمهرة أفكار إقبال في عموم وشمول، ويكشف النقاب عن وجه الحقائق التي أوما إليها، ويوضح علي نحو دقيق عميق فيها ومثلا كان حاثا عليها موجبا للأخذ بها، كما يجرى عليه صفاته ويميزه بسماته مفكرا يغوص علي الجوهر منصرفا عن المظهر، في دعوة بلغت من الجرأة مداها، يتمسك صاحبها فيها التمسك الشديد العنيد بمذهبه الجديد، ضاربا صفحا عن معروف القوم ومألوفهم في العصور الخوالي، وإن كان في نظرهم مقدسا من تراثهم.
