ضرب الكليم هو ديوان للشاعر والفيلسوف الكبير محمد إقبال يشتمل على آراء ونظرات في الدين والتربية والفن والأدب والسياسة والناس ومن المعروف أن كل حقيقة كونية أهل للدخول في عالم الشعر إن صبغتها عاطفة الإنسان وصورها خياله وديوان «ضرب الكليم» أقرب إلى الفلسفة والفكر منه إلى العاطفة والخيال فإذا افترضنا وجود دائرة يمثل المركز فيها الخيال والعاطفة ويمثل المحيط فيها المعنوي والمجرد فإن ضرب الكليم أقرب إلى المحيط منه إلى المركز.
