\"العرف الطيب في شرح ديوان أبي الطيب\" كتاب جمع فيه الشيخ ناصيف اليازجي شعر المتنبي وشرحه وعلق عليه وأضاف إليه ما روي للمتنبي من شعر ولم يذكر في ديوانه وقد دأب اليازجي في طيات شرحه وفي المقدمة بخاصة على عرض مختلف الروايات التي تتعلق بمواقف المتنبي من شروح الأدباء والعلماء لشعره وكذلك مواقف الممدوحين فكان يقدم آراءهم ثم يدلي برأيه وموقفه من هذه الروايات وما ذكر فيها من آراء.
