يتناول الكتاب موضوع (الفكر الإسلامي الشيعي) ويوضح أنه لم يحافظ على وجوده في التاريخ فحسب، بل احتفظ كذلك بديناميته وعرف بحس الحركة وتميز بهذا الحس وظل متغلبا على مظاهر السكون ومتخطيا آفات الجمود وهذا الذي ضمن له إثبات وجوده في التاريخ وامتلاك القدرة على عبور الأزمنة، فثمة تلازم بين الوجود والدينامية، فالوجود كاشف عن الدينامية ولولا هذه الدينامية لما حصل وتحقق هذا الوجود ومن الثابت أن السكون في سبيل الفناء والحركة سبيل إلى البقاء ومنشأ هذه الدينامية وحس الحركة في الفكر الإسلامي الشيعي، نابع من مبدإ الاجتهاد الذي بقي مفتوحا ولم يغلق على الرغم من جميع المحن الفكرية والتاريخية.
