يتحدث هذا الكتاب عن إخراج الصورة الصحفية في مجلات الأطفال حيث تتعدد وسائل الإعلام وتتعدد الموارد المقدمة من خلالها للطفل فنجد في الإذاعة برامج كثيرة مقدمة للطفل منها برنامج أبله فضيلة وفي التليفزيون نجد العديد والعديد من البرامج المقدمة للطفل فمنها (برنامج السلم والتعبان- برنامج عالم سمسم) وهناك أيضا الفضائيات الخاصة والتي أسسها مؤجهه للطفل كقناة طيور الجنة الفضائية أما في الصحافة فنجد صفحات في الصحف العامة تخص الأسرة والطفل وهناك صحافة الأطفال المتخصصة وهي كثيرة إلى حد ما.
