جاء هذا الكتاب لتوضيح كتاب المنطق للعلامة محمد رضا المظفر حيث راعى الشارح في شرحه حال المبتدئين في دراسة هذا العلم، فعكف على عرض مسائله بجلاء، مبسطا الكلام وموضحا العبارات، دون أن يعرض إلى مطالب لم يتعرض لها المصنف وقد كان الأساس الذي بنى عليه متن الكتاب هو توضيح منطق الشيخ المظفر مبنيا على جملة أمور وهي : الأول : الأساس في عمله وتقطيع المتن ضمن مقطع علمي واحد وعرض وتوضيح كل مقطع، الثاني : شرح مزجي فبعض عبارات المتن تحتاج إلى توضيح غير التوضيح الذي هو لأصل الموضوع، الثالث : الهوامش، هذا وقد تم هذا التوضيح في ثلاث أجزاء.
