جاء هذا الكتاب ليسلط الضوء على حياة الملكة عالية المليئة بالإثارة والمفاجآت ودورها الواضح في إسداء النصح والإرشاد إلى زوجها الشاب وتأثيرها الكبير في الحياة الاجتماعية العراقية التي كانت تشهد تخلفا واضحا وكانت الملكة تضع بصماتها عليه أما دورها السياسي فقد كان واضحا حتى وفاتها وفي كل ذلك كانت توجه السياسة لخدمة العرش وحمايته من غدر السياسيين الذين كانوا يتزاحمون للوصول إلى السلطة لكي يتصدروا الصفوف على حساب العرش.
