يتناول هذا الكتاب مسيرة حياة الفنان والرسام الإماراتي (عبد القادر الريس) ولد عبد القادر الريس عام 1951 في دبي في الإمارات العربية المتحدة ويعتبر واحدا من أكثر الرسامين شهرة في الدولة، حصل الريس على درجة البكالوريوس في القانون الشرعي من جامعة الإمارات العربية المتحدة عام 1982 وهو عضو مؤسس لجمعية الإمارات للفنون التشكيلية وقد تخطت أعمال الريس الفنية حدود الإمارات لا بل العالم العربي لتصل إلى أوروبا والشرق الأقصى وأميركا وحازت جوائز عديدة من جهات عالمية ومحلية، اشتهر بفنه التجريدي الذي يجمع بين الأشكال الهندسية والخط العربي.
