يهدف هذا المعرض إلى تعريف الجمهور كيفية عمل كتاب الفنان بدءا باختيار نوع الخط والورق والطباعة والرسوم الإيضاحية وانتهاء بالتجليد، وكلها مراحل تساهم في تحديد هوية الكتاب. وسوف يقوم المعرض بتقديم نبذة تاريخية مختصرة عن كتاب الفنان في القرن العشرين، ولهذا وقع الاختيار على فنانين متميزين من الرواد في هذا المجال وهما لوي جو وبيير أندريه بنوا. وتجري الآن مفاوضات بالتعاون مع أتيلييه الإسكندرية حول تخصيص معرض دائم بمكتبة الإسكندرية لعرض المقتنيات الفنية لكتاب الفنان وخيال الكتاب.
