يتناول الكتاب مجموعة من القصائد، هدفت إلى أن أختار بعض الموضوعات المتشابهة عند هؤلاء الشعراء، سواء عند هؤلاء الشعراء، سواء عند الثلاثة أو عند شاعرين اثنين منهم على الأقل إلى جانب حرصي على اختيار الأفضل، فأنا أحسب أن لكل شاعر رؤيا خاصة به في ما يتعلق بالموضوع نفسه، وبالطبع له لغته الخاصة وصورته الشعرية المتفردة، وأسلوب المدرسة الشعرية التي ينتمي إليها.
