الدولة الطولونية أو الإمارة الطولونية أو دولة بني طولون، وتعرف اختصارا وفي الخطاب الشعبي باسم الطولونيون، هي إمارة إسلامية أسسها أحمد بن طولون التغزغزي التركي في مصر، وتمددت لاحقا باتجاه الشام، لتكون بذلك أول دويلة تنفصل سياسيا عن الدولة العباسية وتتفرد سلالتها بحكم الديار المصرية والشامية، قامت الدولة الطولونية خلال زمن تعاظم قوة الترك في الدولة العباسية وسيطرة الحرس التركي على مقاليد الأمور، وهو ذاته العصر الذي كان يشهد نموا في النزعة الشعوبية وتغلب نزعة الانفصال على شعوب وولاة الدولة مترامية الأطراف، فكان قيام الدولة الطولونية إحدى النتائج الحتمية لتنامي هذا الفكر.
