يضم هذا الكتاب التوثيقي بين دفتيه محاضرتين ومذكرتين كتبها الفنان الرائد والمؤسس زكي طليمات هذا الفنان الذي لا يمر ذكر لبدايات المسرح الحديث مع معظم أرجاء الوطن، المحاضرة الأولى في مطلع 1958 في الكويت ضمن الموسم الثقافي الذي نظمته معارف الكويت، المحاضرة الثانية كانت في أبوظبي ضمن الموسم الثقافي الذي نظمته الدائرة الثقافية في وزارة شؤون الرئاسة، المذكرة الأولى تقرير بشأن مظاهر النشاط الفني في الكويت ووسائل تدعيمه والارتقاء به، المذكرة الثانية من أجل حركة مسرحية في الإمارات مذكرة تفسيرية.
