تعد الفنانة التشكيلية الإماراتية نجاة مكي من أهم الفنانات الرائدات في منطقة الخليج، وتعد لوحاتها الإبداعية جديرة بالمشاهدة والرصد والتسجيل، فأعمالها تحمل ثراءا نوعيا من ناحية الشكل والمضمون، ويشكل موروثها التراثي والبيئي الذي يعتبر جزءا أساسيا ومهما في ذاكرتها الحياتية والثقافية والفنية، انعكس على سطوح أعمالها الفنية. المعرض فرصة للإبحار في عالم الفنانة نجاة مكي الخاص، ومن خلال مجموعة متميزة من أعمالها التي تحتل المرأة بأحلامها وقضاياها وخاصة المرأة العربية جانب رئيسي فيها، سيتعرف المتلقي على أسلوبها الفني الذي يتسم بمسحة تجمع بين التجريد والتشخيص الاختزالي في منظومة بنائية وجمالية منفردة.
